Graphic Artist / Designer / Illustrator Designed and created high-quality graphics for online and print customer and service product documentation, Web pages, software splash screens, icons, promotional material, product labels, and other projects. Created innovative, online methodology for delivering complex cabling diagrams and instructions for extremely large, complex computing systems and networks. Eliminated the need for printed documentation including printing costs, as well as for 2-week printing/distribution lead times, and for documentation shipping costs. Resolved on-going communications problems about hardware with field service personnel by acquiring appropriate digital photography equipment and developing a process of sending prompt, annotated digital photos directly to the field. · Reduced graphic file sizes by 80% and improved production rate by about 120%. · Improved graphic request process, forecasting, and scheduling to eliminate spikes in graphic workloads, which sometimes exceeded 150% of capacity, thus ensuring we met all production commitments and schedules. |
